Looking for Land Based Technicians for a Marine Engineering Company.
MUST be legal to work in the USA!
West Palm Beach/Fort Lauderdale based with occasional travel to Savannah, GA, the Netherlands & Spain.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience in hydraulics, the ability to read blueprints, diagrams, schematics (must be able to understand and service mainly hydraulic components and sometimes electrical). Mechanical assembling skills, Hydraulic system skills. Electric installation and PLC skills. Yachting experience a plus, but not required! Experience with mechanical/hydraulic service of lifting and boarding equipment on board yachts is an advantage!
Must be fluent in English!
Position description - must take ownership of the project and the challenges to ensure that the work in the yard can continue at all times. Performing services on hydraulics systems on board. Cleaning, assembling, disassembling and replacing parts as required. Installing hydraulic tubing, hoses, pumps, motor and system testing.
Must have a valid drivers license and passport!
Salary DOE with Medical Insurance included!
